Basic Manners 6 week class - $180
Building a trusting relationship and establishing a close personal connection with your pet is imperative to having a well adjusted pup that fits into your family dynamic. The “Basic Manners Class” at Covepets is a great way to begin creating that trust. This class is a six week course for pups over five months of age who have never had any formal behavior training. Pet owners will learn basic techniques, philosophies and equipment used and pups will learn:

  • Watch me

  • Sit Down

  • Up, Stand, Stay (three focuses - duration, distance & distraction)

  • Leave it & Leave it combined with Watch me

  • Loose-leash walking (two focuses - no distractions & distractions)

  • Touch

  • Come

  • Proper greeting behavior

    The course will end with an overview of skills, learning some games to continue after the course to keep your pet eager to show off their skills and a certificate of completion of the Covepets Basic Manners Class.

Puppy 6 week class - $180
Adding a new addition to your family? Our trainer can show you how to raise a well-mannered pup. Socialization, teething, and housebreaking are only a few topics discussed in our 6 week puppy class.

Custom Training Plan up to 4 - up 1 hour session - $280
Meet one-on-one with our trainer at Covepets to create a custom training plan for you and your dog. This package includes up to 4, 1 hour sessions that will cover a curriculum specifically designed for your family dynamic and schedule.

Custom Training Plan 1 - 1 hour session - $90
This individual one-on-one session is designed for more experienced and independent dog owners looking for basic instruction and guidance. Our trainer will assist in creating a training plan unique to your dog’s needs. Schedule a single session as a refresher course, or to help troubleshoot already learned behaviors.

In-Home Custom Training Plan up to 4 - 1 hour sessions - $330
Enjoy the benefits of a custom training plan from the comfort of your own home. Our trainer will travel to your home (up to 15 miles from Covepets). This option is best for dogs that are reactive to distracting or new environments.

In-Home Custom Training Plan 1 - 1 hour session - $140
Enjoy the benefits of a custom training plan from the comfort of your own home. Our trainer will travel to your home (up to 15 miles from Covepets). This option is best for dogs that are reactive to distracting or new environments.

DayCare/Boarding + Training Day add-on - $50
Your dog can receive lessons during daycare and boarding visits. Add this on and have our trainer work independently with your dog during their stay. When you return, you will receive a report card of all progress made. Within a week of pick up, schedule a session with our trainer to review all of the material covered.
