Our Story
Hampton Cove Animal Hospital began in 1995, when Dr. Charles Horton opened our doors with a vision of providing the highest quality veterinary care to the community. Just a few years later, in 1998, Dr. Chris Herring took the reins and built upon that foundation, expanding services while holding true to the belief that excellence is always worth the effort.

In 2013, we grew again with the opening of Covepets, a dedicated facility for grooming, Doggie DayCare, and luxury boarding — making it easier than ever to care for every part of your pet’s life.

Through every chapter, our mission has remained the same: Thorough Medicine, Compassionate Care, and Excellent Service. It’s the standard Dr. Horton began, and one we are proud to carry forward today.
